The Good Veggie

Vegan Dessert

These desserts vegans are the proof that you do not need butter, eggs, or cream to create a sweet, rich, and decent. Once you've filled your pantry with a few simple ingredients, to make good desserts vegan is easy, enjoy!

If you are vegetarian, vegan or are you just trying to eat healthier, these desserts are for you. All are very easy to make and they taste amazing.

Pumpkin pie raw

The tart raw squash is a healthy alternative to pumpkin pie traditional. It is made with pumpkin puree, coconut oil, dates, and spices. You can make it in the blender or food processor if you don't have an immersion blender to hand. The bark can be made with butter, cashew or coconut oil (or both).

If you prefer not to use raw ingredients such as walnuts or pecans, try using whole wheat pastry instead of white flour, in place of a mixture of one-half whole-wheat pastry and half white flour, as I did here, because it is what I had for the house!

This recipe also works well if you want something sweetened with honey instead of maple syrup (and vice versa). If so, try to replace it with 1/4 cup of honey and 2 tablespoons of rice starch, which espesarán well during baking without adding extra calories – delicious any way 🙂

Chocolate Mousse no bake

This recipe makes enough mousse to fill a pie pan, 9 inches. You can use it as is or add fresh fruit and turn it into a tart.

Ingredients:

2 cups cashews, soaked overnight in water (or boiled for 10 minutes) and drained

1 tablespoon of cocoa powder (the thinner the better) – optional, but definitely recommended if you want your mousse is extra soft! I like the brand ChocZero because it is vegan and contains no dairy products. If you're not vegan, you can use chocolate to bake without sugar. Yes, keep in mind that this type of chocolate will bring you more carbohydrates, so don't go crazy with them! It comes moderation).

* A small handful of dates chopped (about 6-8 pieces in total, depending on how great the dates; if possible, without bone; if not, leave them whole; you can also use other dried fruit, like cranberries, but still I have not tested it, so do not believe me :-)”.

Little morsels of chocolate and peanut butter

Ingredients:

1 cup peanut butter natural (or other butter-nuts)

2/3 cup cocoa powder (unsweetened or sulfate)

Instructions: In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the peanut butter and the cocoa powder together. Remove from heat when the mixture is smooth and creamy, then set aside to cool completely before using in your recipe, or serve as a dip for fruit.

Bites of superfoods with nuts

Superfoods are foods with a high nutritional value. They are rich in vitamins and minerals, fiber, protein and other nutrients.

The word superfood was first used by a nutritionist british named Dr. Thomas Hale in the 1990s, but since then has taken on a life of its own as more people aware of the benefits of consuming them regularly.

Among the superfoods are kale, spinach and broccoli, as well as blueberries and other fruits such as apples or pears. All of them are loaded with antioxidants that help to protect cells from the damage caused by free radicals (unstable molecules that can cause inflammation).

These antioxidants also help to strengthen the immune system, as they help to destroy harmful bacteria that cause disease when they enter through open wounds or food poisoning such as salmonella caused by the consumption of meat products chicken undercooked.

Cheese cake and passion fruit

Ingredients:

1 package of graham crackers vegan

1 cup walnuts or pecans, chopped (optional)

2 tablespoons lemon juice (or other citrus juice)

Preparation: Preheat oven to 350°F. lightly Grease a springform pan (9-inch) with nonstick oil spray and cover the bottom with parchment paper so that you can remove it easily later. In a food processor or blender, combine the Graham crackers, nuts, and citrus juice to crumble.

Press into the prepared pan and refrigerate for 1 hour before adding the filling above (this prevents cracking). If you want, add another layer of fresh fruit, such as sliced passion fruit or chunks of mango, just before serving. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream if you want to give a touch more sweet.
